Keratosis Pilaris Treatment
Can Keratosis Pilaris Be Cured?
Our Exfoliating Skin Cream contains 10% natural alpha-hydroxy acid (glycolic acid). It sounds complicated, but it's simply found in milk and sugar cane. Glycolic acid dissolve the excess keratin that is blocking your pores and causing those small, rough bumps on your body. Once exfoliated, our effective keratosis pilaris treatment encourages healthy and rapid turnover of your skin cells, letting your skin heal itself, and eliminating your sandpaper-like bumps - resulting in new, smooth, and normally colored skin. This product should be used twice a day, both in the morning and again at night. If you shower, be sure to apply the cream after you are done. This ensures a consistent layer of KP treatment on your skin that'll help all day or night.
Treating Keratosis Pilaris
KP Elements Exfoliating Skin Cream is a complete treatment for keratosis pilaris by itself, but if you want to see results faster combine it with our KP Elements Body Scrub. It contains natural botanical extracts, vitamins, and essential oils to moisturize and reduce irritation. Our Body Scrub contains the same soothing essential oils and vitamins as our cream, but adds physical exfoliation beads – a one-two punch that clears up your keratosis pilaris faster than the cream alone.
During your daily shower lightly scrub the affected areas with the Body Scrub using your hand or a loofah, then rinse. After your shower towel dry normally and apply KP Elements Exfoliating Skin Cream for continued all day treatment.
While most KP Elements users start seeing visible reduction in their KP in as little as one week, we encourage everyone to give the system 30 days to see a big difference. The key to a great keratosis pilaris treatment plan is being consistent on a day-to-day basis. Like we've been explaining, make sure you treat the affected areas twice daily with cream and use the body scrub when you shower. With KP Elements, treating your KP has never been easier and faster!
